Abstract Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is a tool for modelling and simulating processes in many industries. It usually used as choice to solve problem involving flow of fluids, heat transfer, mass transfer chemical reaction. Moreover, it has also found application the optimization branches food industry, including bread baking, cooling beef roast, or spray drying. CFD enormous potential opportunities improve quality safety products, well reduce costs production use machines equipment. In addition, empirical models only permit data be extracted at limited number locations system (where sensors gauges are placed). allows designer examine any location region interest, interpret its performance through set thermal parameters. Computer simulations future every field science, presented overview provides latest information on experts experiences related production. Despite some disadvantages, such need have large reserve computing power, development digital IT technologies will make this insignificant nearest future. Then become an indispensable element design equipment technological lines industry.
